Within the Sai Organization, the young adults (YA) are between the ages of 18 to 39. Most of the young adults have completed the Sri Sathya Sai Spiritual Education program and then joined the young adults group to continue their involvement within the SSSIO.  

Young adults meet at the Sai Centre or online frequently during which they plan and coordinate various activities with the primary objectives to guide their character development, selfless service and self-realization. Activities including study circles, book clubs, service activities, musical offerings and more are organized to encourage young people to lead purposeful lives by learning and practising spiritual values as defined and established by the life, message, and works of Sathya Sai Baba. These activities are also intended to enhance harmony and understanding among each other within our families, the Sai Organization and outside of the centre, acting as ideal members of our society. The goal of all activities are to create an environment of growth where the YA’s can imbibe all of the five human values of love, peace, truth, right conduct and non-violence into their lives and encourage them to bring this good character into the world where they act as instruments for Sathya Sai Baba’s work and message. 

This growth and these activities are presented as offerings for our Beloved Swami to provide various ways for members to connect and grow with like-minded people among all ages. Many young adults have now taken up various roles and responsibilities in the centre to support one another in our spiritual transformation:

• • Teaching SSE students every Sunday morning
  • Organizing cultural and music programs during annual events
  • Conducting summer camps for children 
  • Participating in soup kitchens for the homeless and other seva initiatives
